These look awesome. I’ve always found the throw rod to be the hardest part of Fast Tracks turnouts as the jig doesn’t really give you much help. These should really help. Worth a blog post in themselves.
Brandon, the trick to getting these to work well is get the point rails pre-bent with just the right amount of spring pressure when you’re building the turnout. Working with code 55 rail, I found that I had a tendency to bend the points upwards sometimes when I was trying to curve them. I didn’t get it right on all of them, so for the ones that wouldn’t stay hooked into these little brass bits, I simply soldered the points to them.
